Blue Penguin Linux Prep ("the app") is an independent study tool for the RHCSA (EX200) exam. Your privacy is simple to explain: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
None. The app has no user accounts and no backend server. All of your content — study progress, quiz scores, personal notes, bookmarks, streaks, exam date and settings — is stored only on your device using local storage. It never leaves your device and we never see it.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. We do not use identifiers to track you across apps or websites.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any external server. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
Because everything is stored locally, you are in full control. Using "Reset progress" in the app, or deleting the app, permanently removes all stored data from your device.
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Any changes to this policy will be published on this page and released with a future app version.
